The expansion tank is applied in water heating systems such as water heaters and boilers.  It can store excessive water in the water heating system and stabilizes the water pressure. When water in the heating system becomes hotter, the expansion pressure will increase. If the system pressure is higher than the gas pressure in the tank, water in the system will flow into the tank, compressing the sealed gas. Similarly, the expansion pressure decreases as the temperature decreases.  If the system pressure is lower than the gas pressure in the tank, water in the tank will flow back to the system as a result of relatively high pressure in the tank.

Water and gas in the expansion tank is divided by NSF certified butyl diaphragm. Also, the expansion tanks designed by our corporation has passed NSF61 and UPC certifications, and thus can be widely applied in drinking water.
