The pressure tank is used in water supply systems such as water pumps to store water and extend lives of water pumps. When the pump is working, if the pressure in the system is higher than the pressure of gas in the tank, the water in the system will be compressed into the tank. Thus, the tank starts to storing water until the system pressure equals to the gas pressure in the tank, and then the water in the system stops flowing into the pressure tank. When the pump stops working, the system pressure will decrease, and then the water stored in pressure tank will flow back into the system, reducing the activating times of the water pump and lowering water hammering effects. As a result, it can extend lives of water pumps.

Water and gas in the expansion tank is divided by NSF certified butyl diaphragm. Also, the pressure tanks designed by our corporation has passed NSF61 and UPC certifications, and thus can be widely applied in drinking water.
